I know the struggle of being a busy professional and parent, I’ve juggled multiple moves across Europe and the UK on my own while working in international sales and logistics and as a military wife with a young family, alongside the fatigue that comes with it. I understand what it means to feel overwhelmed and unable to put your own needs first.

My commitment to inner strength is lifelong. For almost 40 years, I've managed my scoliosis by following my doctor's advice: “Build your own corset with muscle and you will be OK”. This personal, lifelong practice of building resilience is the foundation of my unique Sisu Method based on my Finnish upbringing but mixed with my international experience.

I create your Personal Training plan adapted for your age, fitness level, and life demands. The focus is on building your unshakeable core and functional strength, just like I did for my own scoliosis. My Sisu Method: Unleashing & Replenishing Your Resilience

My life taught me that fitness is pointless if your mind is constantly overwhelmed and running on empty. That is why I didn't create another static workout plan; I developed the Sisu Method, a comprehensive system that trains your mind and body together for unstoppable resilience.

This method has two main parts, all centred on your energy: how to Unleash it for physical strength and mental resilience, and how to Replenish it for long-term health. Clients can choose to focus on either Mindset or Movement, or combine both for the full Sisu effect.

Unleashing Sisu

Goal: Developing functional, resilient strength that meets your real-life needs and the inner mental strength required to beat procrastination and overcome challenges.

I teach you how to unleash your deep inner strength, your Sisu, so you can stay consistent when motivation fails. For your body, this is where my 40 years of core work comes into play.

  • Tailored Training: I provide Personal Training that is fully flexible and adapted to your life, customised for your age, goals, hormonal changes, and career demands. My clients typically come to me to build strength, with a primary focus on the core, often utilising portable equipment such as kettlebells.

  • Real-Time Adaptation: My commitment to safe, adaptive training is backed by specialist certifications, including the GP and Exercise Referral Course, Pre and Post-Natal Exercises and the Otago Strength & Balance Programme. In both 1:1 and small groups (capped at 5-6 clients), I adapt the session to your energy and physical capacity on the day. This allows for a lot of tailoring for both the individual and the group as a whole.

For the mind, we build mental strength and resilience, drawing on my expertise as a Mental Coach (qualified 2025).

  • For the Overwhelmed: I guide you through powerful tools like the SISU Emotional Reset. If a client is overwhelmed or has not slept, we can do short mindfulness practices or breathing exercises.

  • The Oxygen Mask Rule: Like the safety rule on an aeroplane, you must put your own mask on first before you help others. We establish non-negotiable habits to take care of yourself without guilt, ensuring you have the energy to be fully present for your family and career.

Replenishing the Sisu Tank

Goal: Ensure your body and mind are recovering correctly to prevent exhaustion and burnout.

Sisu is not just about pushing forward; it’s about aiming for a full tank to do so. I teach you how to replenish your energy through proper recovery and lifestyle habits.

I didn't have to start calculating calories or anything like that. It's just a simple way of showing what kind of stuff to put on your plate. It’s excellent, and the whole family is eating the same. I'm 52, I'm busy, but these simple things are what allow me to be consistent in my life. They’re so easy to follow.
